How the estimate works
Divide attending guests by seats per table and round up. For 100 guests at 8 seats each, 100 ÷ 8 = 12.5, so you need 13 tables. That gives 104 seats and 4 spare places.
Leave room for the real room
This is a seating arithmetic tool, not a venue capacity or safety assessment. Table dimensions, chair space, aisles, accessibility, staff routes and a dance floor affect the actual layout. Ask your venue to approve the arrangement.
